Anonymous wrote:Buck shot. They will learn pretty quickly to not come back.

Thankfully, I'm past my really bad insomnia days, but those nights brought me to tears more than once.
I'm PP and I do have insomnia. And guess what, it wasn't the bird sounds that woke me...it was my anxiety and stress.
Maybe flip your thinking around. If I wake up at 4 am and hear birds, I think "Oh how wonderful the beautiful sounds of Nature. The birds aren't troubled by my petty human problems, they just rejoice in the morning sun and live in the moment."
I'm talking about still being awake when the birds get started, and then being stuck awake for 2 days in a row.

Anonymous wrote:I can't believe there is yet another thread about hating birds singing. You people are the most miserable pieces of work I have ever encountered. The sound is so beautiful. If you are so stressed out that you can't appreciate the sound, then reevaluate your life.
Now a rooster...that shit is horrible!

And stupid. S/he can't even spell "hear" (which is half why I asked if they came from Jersey).
I don't mind roosters either. My neighbors have them, and they don't bother me at all.
Earplugs are cheap. I suggest all those bothered by nature invest in some.
Huh? "Jersey" actually has one of the most educated populations in the country (& some of the best public schools). It also has many birds, I'm sure. And, no, I am not from there.
