This is very funny and true.
I dated a guy who was 5'9. Like, he was ACTUALLY 5'9.
He would laugh and tell me that every other guy he met who claimed to be 5'9 was actually 5'6-5'7.
I don't get why guys lie on this when it's so plain to see.
I've got A cup boobs. I don't claim to have a "full B". Just own it!
Men lie about their height. Women lie about their weight.
And dress size

Anonymous wrote:A guy is a piece of shit for ruling out a woman based on her weight but it's OK for a woman to write off a guy for his height?

I just think it's funny that the conventional wisdom is that women are less concerned about appearance, when it's clear that they are just as picky as men when it comes to physical appearance. They just prioritize slightly different things.
What does that statement even mean? If her deal breakers keep her single, she's an idiot. Otherwise she has a plan that works.

I am taller than my husband when I wear heels and it doesn't bother us.
And I sincerely hope that my very short son will meet a woman who doesn't mind being taller than him!!!
FUN FACT: You get your height from your mother so your son won't have to worry
FUN FACT: Must be hard to go through life knowing so little.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I am very tall. I check profiles 2-3 times for height and other things before I reply. I swear this guy's profile said he was my height, but after we started texting, I reread it again, and noticed it said he was 4 inches shorter. I think 4 inches is a huge deal, because if I wear heels during a relationship, I am going to be 6+ inches taller.
It is possible I missed it. But it is also possible that detail was changed before and after he messaged me the first time and we started chatting.
We are supposed to meet soon. I am turned off at this point. What do I do? Meet up? Come up with a lame excuse?
Stop judging a man on his height would be a good start. It's one thing to have a preference and some things should be absolutes but I feel that within the framework that you mention this shouldn't be one of them.
FWIW I am above the average height but my father was shorter than my mother and it never bothered them.
