I don't really understand why someone would want to take a much harder version of an AP class like the TJ parents say. If you can get a 5 on the class by attending the base school, why attend a different school just to do more work at the same level?

I really don’t appreciate the “Maybe Loudoun doesn’t have as intelligent students as Fairfax to support a full time school!” AOL was built as an alternative option to TJ, not as a replacement. if any of the participating counties stop sending their students, wouldn't TJ be just another fcps school? That may not be a bad idea. Loudoun or another county may do a better a job of hosting and operating a new VA state chartered STEM magnet school from scratch.
