You all have misjudged me.
For the record, in my opinion, there IS NO conspiracy. No child slavery sex ring, no demonic ritual sacrifices, no anything.
Just a pizza shop that sells mediocre quality pizza (but with great sauce) at higher than justified prices, with lousy wait staff service.
And if I were the owner, I'd probably be grateful for all the pity patronage I could get, as I'm sure he is.
Because pity, and politics, are why people are eating there.
Cause the pizza itself, and the disinterested waiters, sure aren't the reason people are coming in.
No. We have not misjudged you. The judgment of idiot still remains. Your conspiracy theory is that the owner of Cosmos manufactured a conspiracy theory and brought the death threats, protests and guy going in an shooting a gun off upon himself? You're as nutty as Alex Jones.
Go eat a handful of salt.
First off, it's "Comet", not "cosmos".
Second, I never suggested the owner created the conspiracy to gin up business. Whackaloons created the conspiracy, and it fed on itself.
What I did suggest is 1) the pizza isn't very good, and 2) the owner is likely happy about the uptick in business from all the people taking pity on him.
Again, go chew a handful of salt.

Well played. Considering the owner and employees have received death threats for working there, I think the pity patronage is owed. Maybe Alex Jones himself should buy a pizza there.

I wonder if it a literal translation of a Russian idiom?

The pizza shop could stop all this foolishness in 10 minutes, but they choose not to.
For them, the scandal and conspiracy nonsense is working to generate business.
I've been to Comet back before all this started. Their pizza was middling at best, and overpriced, with a long wait and disinterested servers. Besta Pizza up the block (carry out) makes a MUCH better pizza than Comet, anyways.
Comet could stop all this, but frankly, it's all they've got.
