It's possible they are hiding the legality of the other rapist (age 17) due to minority status.

Homeland Security now has a declined detainer list. In DC one has to have had a conviction so these 2 would be out... There is an actual homicide in Philadelphia with a declined detainer.

I didn't see an updated article about the crime on the Post, but I found one on Fox news. It was a very disturbing read. That poor 14-year girl and her family. I can't even imagine. I think that my eyes are opening to more of the problems with illegal immigrants. I fully support legal immigration. However, I do not want my kids going to 9th grade with 18 years old that arrived here illegally and don't speak English.

Have you read the article? He was on a deportation list. Why would a legal immigrant be placed on deportation list?
