I go to Wegman's for bulk items and Harris Teeter for my weekly shopping. The Teet has better-tasting produce and cheaper meat prices.

Better or equal to bounty. They are quality towels.

Agree with Costco once every few weeks for cleaning supplies, paper towels and toilet paper, basic toiletries, and nonperishable foods. Not a fan of their produce or meat departments at all.

Wegmans is significantly better than Giant, but not noticeably cheaper than WF. I can never find decent produce anywhere besides WF and even that can be a struggle these days.

Trader Joes is trash, so avoid that option all together.

Costco does not have good meat; even their organic cuts are fatty and gross.

I can only stand to go to Wegmans during the week mid-day (or late at night..basically when it is less crowded.) Wegmans on the weekend is the 7th circle of hell...even if you know where everything is.

We do Costco every 3-4 weeks, Harris Teeter for regular weekly shopping, and Trader Joes (also 7th circle of hell on the weekends) about once a month.

I hate wegmans. It is overpriced and nothing special.

I shop 1 or 2 times per month at Costco for milk, butter, eggs, etc and ribeyes. I shop 1 time per month at TJs for convenience food when I’m too lazy or busy to cook. I then shop weekly at giant.

Ps a 20 minutes drive is not gas guzzling for those of us with hybrid and electric vehicles.

I would do Wegmans and Costco and drop TJs.

Just alternate. Costco is terrific for TP, paper towels, contacts/glasses, cheese, coffee, medicines, detergents, etc. I wouldn't give that up. I think of Wegmans as an alternative to WF.

I actually don't like their meat. I think costco has better quality

I grew up with Wegman's and I don't understand the fuss; I don't think it's a great corporate citizen, although it's not terrible

Like other people on this thread, I buy in bulk at Costco once a month, plus electronics, appliances, etc. The other stuff comes from a selection of stores, depending on what I need.
