Similar. I feel that I'm treated the same as men in my Company. My boss shows his appreciation all the time. I work long hours, but I signed up for that (I'm an attorney). I love what I do, just got a nice bonus, and I feel lucky to have my job. I don't feel like I really have anything to protest.
I don't feel I need to protest for me either.
But I will participate, because it's not about me.

I'm on unpaid FMLA right now for maternity leave but if I wasnt, I'd be working Wednesday. I'd be in some serious sh*t if I took the day off for this event and my company is already pretty anti-woman.

Why do you need a excuse? If you want a day off, just take it. If I want one I just tell my husband I'm going out when he gets home or on the weekend and he says have fun. Why is it such a big deal.
why do men need an excuse to not shave in November... can't they just not shave if they want to?
My husband better shave if he plans to touch me with his face.
It's rough on the thighs. We all sacrifice for our loved ones.

Heck no, if I don't work either I don't get paid or I have to get the client work done on other days. This is already a super busy week so taking a day off only hurts me.
