Every individual, male/female, can choose to hold the door.
Any individual, make/female, can choose to 'take' the door holding duty from you. Whoever it is, once they take over, socially, you have to give it up. So, the men in your office are choosing to take over. Any female in your office could take over also. Either way, at that point you walk through.
I'm just saying...these are people holding the door for you. End of story.

If I saw one of my boys fail to open the door or offer a seat to a lady, I would feel like a complete failure as a parent. We may have to live in DC for a few years, but my kids will not become what they are surrounded by.
A gentleman holds the door open for a lady. Always. If you are opening your own doors, just assume men don't see you as worth much.
It's 2017. A courteous human holds the door for those behind her/him. This doesn't emasculate men. If it does, they were insecure to begin with.
