If all of the republicans in congress are compromised this country is in a lot of trouble. i may be naive but that doesn't seem probable. In any event time for someone to be a hero. We are well past partisan politics and need to focus on stabilizing the situation. Obamacare and tax cuts are going to be beside the point if this festers significantly longer.
Yeah, but some people and corporations are going to be pissed if they don't fix Obamacare and cut taxes soon.

If all of the republicans in congress are compromised this country is in a lot of trouble. i may be naive but that doesn't seem probable. In any event time for someone to be a hero. We are well past partisan politics and need to focus on stabilizing the situation. Obamacare and tax cuts are going to be beside the point if this festers significantly longer.

For the same reasons that the Democrats would not have acted if the roles had been reversed. Both sides are partisan as heck and what takes precedence is how their party fares and whether they will upset the base of their party.

Is it at all surprising that with Russia bugging the Dems and feeding stuff to Wikileaks and a bunch of contacts between Russia and the Trump campaign, the FBI wanted to know what was going on? Only Trump would assume the President would have a hand in it. Knowing how he would handle such a situation, he naturally assumes that Obama would be illegally involved.
