I am not the previous poster either but if someone was purposely avoiding looking me in the eye, I don't know that autism wouldn't run through my mind since that is a big symptom of it. It wouldn't be a judgement by any means. You are the one assuming he is being cast out of society with this suspicion. I would think "hmm maybe he is on the spectrum" that's it. Nothing more. Nothing less.

What it reveals is that he will never be with a beautiful woman given he won't make eye contact. If I'm talking to a guy and he is looking at other things then I assume he is interested in something else. The first time I met the guy I'm dating he looked so intently at my eyes that I almost melted.
