1 month each at 34, 36, 38. All healthy babies born at term.

Fertility Friend has a free e-book that was very easy to understand. I recommend it. I never used TCYF. I just tracked ovulation using Fertility friend (I'm the pregnant within 1 month at 36 and 2 months at 39 poster).

1 month at 36, 2 months at 39. Of my close friends (the ones I talk to about this stuff) who are in this age range, all were able to get pregnant without outside assistance within a year of beginning to try.

This is actually really inaccurate and bad advice.
I have perfectly regular 28 day cycles and I am completely infertile (have TTC for about 10 years). My only conceptions have been through IVF but all my testing is normal.
I've spent a lot of time on infertility/IVF message boards and most of us have regular cycles.

yeah, the regularity of cycles helps you predict when you may be fertile, but doesn't guarantee you actually are fertile. I have irregular cycles but I conceive really easily despite that -- OPKs and charting have been key. Yet although I have conceived 5 times each within 3 months of trying, I have only one child and am in third trimester with another. I've had 3 miscarriages and have had to deal with infertility issues. Regularity of cycles does not guarantee either conception or an actual baby!

Was 35 1/2 when I got pregnant. Took 2 years of trying.

I'm 35 and I got pregnant after about 1 month of sex with my boyfriend. No interventions.

Have you ever gotten pregnant before? That's the best indicator (though of course no guarantee) you have of what it might be like. I got pregnant in about 3 months at 32 and in about 4/5 months at 36. I have friends who have gotten pregnant on the first try and others who are on multiple rounds of IUI or IVF and are not pregnant yet. I don't think age alone can be your only predictor...you won't know until you try. At 35, the biggest thing is to know your chances are lower each month than they were at younger ages, and your chances of something causing a problem are higher. But you could get pregnant in 1 try...or you could have underlying issues and be TTC 3 years from now...it's really impossible to know until you get into it.

At 35/36 it took me about 3 years - which included two early miscarriages, then finally after 2 years we were successful with Ivf (1st round with pgd tested fet). No fertility issues were found, & no apparent reason for miscarriages, just couldn't afford to wait anymore since every year the chances decrease. The miscarriages each set me back a few months while my body got back in cycle. I would expect about 2 years at that age if it's your first.

First pregnancy, at 36: hadn't started TTC, total surprise

Second pregnancy, at 38: 3 months, but I had a chemical pregnancy the month before

first pregnancy 37, second pregnancy 41 (one miscarriage). Both times (actually all three) I just counted 14 days since the beginning of my last period and BOOM.
