As someone whose sister lived with a worsening case of MS and was in a wheelchair, anyone who would say this to a person is below reprehensible.

I have MS and my ex is also a jerk, so greatly sympathize with someone in a similar position.

It's hard enough to deal with the uncertainty of this illness, but it adds to stress of single parenting to worry that I will be an independent caregiver for as long as I need to be.

Reminds me of being in my high school locker room and an older kid whipped my disabled leg with a wet towel and called me a cripple. I hit him as hard as i could and he fell over a bench and got knocked out when his head slammed into the lockers. Kids parents wanted me to be suspended and the principal told them their kid deserved it. It was a special day in my life! Your ex deserved to be punched.
