Does she have any plan for where it would go? Or how to pay for it?
A plan? Who knows, but that's getting way ahead of yourself. We need to have a board that will say we need a fourth high school first. I used to think they were just playing a long game, but with perhaps one exception, they are not. We have to get them out. Lander is a good place to start. He seems very nice, but he isn't interested in being very honest about our predicament. He has also said some really silly things regarding poverty and Farms students.
Maura is a nice combination of kindness and sensibility.

Is there even anyone running against him? The last two ran un-opposed.
That's just not true. There were 4 people running for two seats. This was in the democractic caucus in the spring. That is the point about getting involved much sooner. There is a challenger for Lander this spring.

Maura McMahon is running against Lander. She's very smart, I've talked to her about other Arlington issues. Very grounded in reality.
Maura = CARD. It's not who she is at all, but she'll be a vessel for white Arlingtonians who are done with "the poors".
