I mean the guy was just a typical NY guy making a regular salary when they met. Then she hit it big and he wanted a piece of it. He didn't end up getting as much as he wanted. He also didn't get the apartment.
He is endlessly angry.
I'm sure on some level he's also mad that she's in a relationship again. The guy is a loser.
If you watched the reality show, you'd see that she asked him to help out. He quit his job, traveled with her to Jim Beam (I think) and helped set up the sale of the company for $$$. It's not like he sat around doing nothing.
Plus she has a different apartment. Not sure what happened with the one they shared but she didn't end up in it.
She sold it. Apparently now there is a dispute over the proceeds of the sale because of the way the trust was set up.
He got her to sign a document putting ownership of the apartment into a trust (by lying to her, according to her) giving him half the apartment and the right to live rent free and then he got his mother to act as the notary to the trust, even thought she wasn't a legal notary in NY state. A judge ruled the trust invalid. Which is why she got the apartment and sold it and kept the proceeds.
The dispute now is she's suing the lawyers that set up the trust and were supposed to be acting on her behalf and allegedly never advised her what she was signing when she signed the trust.
He's completely disgusting and who cares if he joined her on a tour of the Jim Beam factory for TV and quit his job so he could "help" her business. She clearly didn't need his kind of help and I'm sure whatever he did, she could have paid someone to do it for her. It was her idea, her brand, her vision, her execution. I'm sure she more than compensated him for his generous time in whatever settlement he came up with.
I find it amazing that any woman would defend him or his actions. You might not like her. I don't really like her. But this has all been decided in a court of law and the court of law says he's a money-grubbing sneak.

She was making more out of this than it was, that was the overall impression. She’s been involved in a terrible divorce with this guy. And it seemed to us that she was filing the report because she wanted to take revenge on him, get back at him for something he did connected to the divorce. This is common among celebrity types — even C-listers like her — when they’re involved in a bad divorce. We get this a lot. It did not appear to us like Hoppy was going to attack her in any way. He seems like a pretty cool character. But she filed the report and because of that we had cause to arrest him.”
Seems like B is the unhinged one.
Ok explain the restraining order if she made the whole thing up.
It isn't hard to get a restraining order,
False. I'm happy for you and the life that you have led. Truly.
I'm pp and I am basing that on the six months I spent working in a law school clinic helping people get restraining orders for domestic violence. Judges apply a lenient standard because not granting one erroneously could be disastrous.
