Just use a cupcake. Some bakeries will throw in a matching cupcake for free if you order a real cake.

A pathetic trend by a sad generation of parents. Totally misses the meaning of birthday cake and is such a overdone, planned photo op.

Give your child a piece of his cake and let him go at it while the guests enjoy the the rest.
