But this is the U.S., where it is NOT common. I honestly don't understand why people post things like "well, in Europe they do it differently" as if Europe's way of doing things is superior. This is the USA, not Finland. Our customs are different.

Frankly, I'd prefer you showered and came in there clean, in a towel. I don't want the smell of the chlorine from your suit, and then later in the wood.

I enjoy nude beaches too. The fewer the clothes the better. In Fermany or Finland you wouldn’t dare wear anything in the sauna. It’s a real violation of sauna etiquette.

Our sauna is coed so swimsuit is required but prefer going in naked with a towel. Swimsuits are so restricting to me, saunas are meant to be sans clothing.
