Subject: If you have ever had a married AP, would you tell their spouse?
i have fantasies of telling the husband of the woman my DH had an emotional affair with and is now dating. he and i are on the road to divorce.

I divorced, they did not. But they were in the same social circle so the gossipy tarts she is "friends" with tried to tell me gory details of the whole mess and I cut them out of my life.
It's not pretty, she is bi-polar (I knew that), I hope she is getting the therapy she needs to be a good mom. Like I said, I knew her and she had been fired form many jobs and I know lots of bad stories about her as a mother, besides the ones she admitted to in the texts she sent my H. Like showing up wasted to a parent teach conference and missing college graduation.
Did you know when you sent the email you'd divorce him? I think that makes a big difference.

How many months? I think it it's a few, you tell, because you're now complicit in the other spouse living a lie. Harder if it's been years.

I did. His wife saw pictures of me online with her husband and his best friend. She was calling on behalf of her friend, who thought I was dating her boyfriend (wife's husband's friend). She had no idea I was with her husband, she just thought we were friends. We talked for 20 mins while I assured her I wasn't dating her friends boyfriend. Realized how much I liked the wife and she ant he shrew her husband had described. Called her back 5 mins later and told her the truth. They divorced, we are friends now (wife and I).
