OP said her networth is 1m, her assets are more than her debts, seems pretty awesome to me.
Assets of $1 million and a net worth of $1 million are 2 different things. OP claimed the latter.

I secretly wish more people would announce this in real life. It gives me, as a 30 y/o, hope that it does happen to real people I know and I would love to pick their brains. Saving and investing are very foreign concepts in my family so I'm just reading and learning as much as I can now.
Kudos!
You can do this. My net worth was $195,000 when I was 30. Then I got married when I was 31 and the net worth took offThe key is discipline and consistency, and not trying to time the market.

It's the 'woe is me, I only have 1 million and I'm concerned I haven't saved enough compared to my 30 year old peers' threads I can't stand.
Yup me too.
Congrats OP
I won't post specifics as you'll flame me, but I find no matter how much we save and how much we feel like we should be comfortable, there's always a nagging sense of unease. Like the market might crash, or our jobs might disappear, or someone might get sick. I think if you looked at our balance sheet you'd say I'm crazy, but I also think that unease helps motivate us to keep saving when maybe we could 'live a little'.
