For ppl like me, who live 2 blocks away, the complete lack of lane definition is less of a problem because we know the drill. I do think the hundreds (thousands?) of first-timers to this use this circle each day can be forgiven somewhat for swerving and veering -- the asphalt currently contains NO guidance. None.
Look next time you're there. It's an unusual state
Yup. I drive around here maybe once a month. I had NO IDEA you could turn onto northbound CT from the inner lane. I'll look out next time I'm there -- but how do folks know this? I can barely figure out which lane of CT moves into which lane in the circle!!!
The usual rule for a circle is that if you want to exit, you move to the outer lane, and if you try to exit from e.g. the middle lane, you better make sure there's nobody in the outer lane that you are going to cut off!
