And let's not forget that there's a percentage of charter schools that are for profit .... so education for the average kid is a money maker for the wealthy and corporations on the backs of public school systems. Awesome.
For profit schools and those who profit from them should really be eliminated. It's education!
Well, we can make the one exception for the Clintons who made 65.5 million dollars from for profit education . . . https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/inside-bill-clintons-nearly-18-million-job-as-honorary-chancellor-of-a-for-profit-college/2016/09/05/8496db42-655b-11e6-be4e-23fc4d4d12b4_story.html?utm_term=.e3a9d347529d

Democrats would certainly know about that.

What a sinister plot!

Charter and parochial are not always the same. I for one welcome the transfer. The public school system in my state is an astounding failure. Charters (many of which are secular) are often the only option middle- and low-middle class parents have to give their children a chance at half-way decent education.

I'm a survivor of parochial schools and I don't want my tax dollars going to support them.
I want world peace.
(You can sympathize with Christians who don't want their tax money to pay for abortions, can't you? :wink

You mean Scamway?
Or the fact that she's a proponent of charter schools ...and has business interests in the charter school industry. No conflict of interest there. ?
"Conflicts of interest" are for Democrats and poor people.
