She owns a condo in Georgetown and a huge estate in McLean near the GW Parkway. She is very, very, very rich.

LuAnn Bennett made all of her money from her husband's real estate developments and his sports marketing company that was tied into the Redskins. When he died she took it over. The only mistake LuAnn ever made was her unfortunate marriage to Jim Moran. She got very smart very fast (like most of Moran's women eventually do) and dumped him. She is not exactly self-made woman either.

We loved the ad when they talked about Lu Ann Bennett's Georgetown condo and dropped the word "swanky." My husband and I have made it our joke line the last few days. We just look at each other and say "swanky," and laugh.

Something good came from the election!

OMG! They ruined the World Series for me. And I don't even live in that congressional district.

Oh come on, I shot a handgun with my grandfather when I was 7 years old and I do t care if they have universal background checks. That isn't at all extreme. I can give or take it. Her stance on abortion is a deal killer though - sorry to say but I think she will lose because Trumo is going to lose in Virginia.

The mayor lost his bid to go to the state senate last year but he's running unopposed this year for mayor so we will have Hal Parrish, Republican mayor 4 more years no matter what. I skipped voting on that "race". He's part of the group that ran the abortion clinic out of town.
