But most threads and complaints about them are claiming they are taking too many jobs. This thread is full of misconceptions. They don't get cash benefits. Their kids do get to go to school.

Hold on. What do you mean they have to pay payroll taxes? I thought it was against the law to hire illegals in the first place.

Well then we need to crack down on the employers who are ignoring the law. They're obviously doing it for the cheap labor, and costing an American a job.
If employers believe or pretend to believe that they are legal, they withhold taxes for a phony Social Security number

OP here. That's fine. People can voluntarily donate to help them. But at what point are taxpayers required to provide the help? That's what I'm trying to figure out.

Taxpayers are forced to pay for, or endure the government using our funds to pay for, all sorts of things you or I may not like. That's how it works. Like two wars in the Middle East, for example.

But I'm concerned that when Hillary wins (probably), she will find a way to "convert" the 10 million illegals to citizenship before the mid-terms in order to win the Congress. At the same time, we are already in $20 trillion od debt, and we simply cannot afford to support the illegals and drive the debt up even further. We are on a path to failure as it is, and this will only hasten
