Hi there. I can totally relate to you. I remember those days and how exhausted I was all the time. It did get better and I enjoy with my lil ones. It sounds like you’re doing a great job so far. Hope everything goes well with you. Sending hugs & prayers your way!

3 and 6 is so awesome that we're going for a third and have clearly forgotten the hellish time of adjustment. best advice we got, which was totally true for us: 1. at 6mo something clicks and you start to get in the swing of things, and 2. somewhere between 12 and 18 months (closer to 18 for us), things get really, really fun...nuts still, but fun.

I think it's normal, but that doesn't make it easy. I'm in a similar position except that my baby is a TERRIBLE sleeper (like, up every 2 hours and sometimes up for hours at night, no matter what we've tried). I would recommend having your DH give a bottle for one of the feedings at night, if that's possible. You could also try dropping it soon.

Can you get help while DH travels? I find it really hard to be alone with my 2 for multiple days. Is there someone who could help overnight or help put the older kid down to be or something? If it's over the weekend, could someone come to help out then? I think getting a little help when DH travels would be a relief for you at least somewhat.

Good luck! Hang in there!
