Op it's really going to depend on fire codes and where you're going. Just do it above the board and call the hotel first.

We get a king room and bring sleeping bags for the older two, baby in pnp. Hotel beds are high off the ground and I don't want my two falling out. They like having asleep over. Sometimes I do have to say 4 guests, as it won't let me make the reservation for 5. I know as they get older our arrangements will change. It just saves is some money now. DH and I spend a little time hanging out in the bathroom until the kids fall asleep and then we can go in and watch TV. Works for us for now.
You hang out in the bathroom? That sounds terrible.
And put your two kids on a dirty ass floor? That's horrible op. And disgusting.
I slept on many hotel floors in my childhood and lived to tell the tale. And we're not talking Marriott-quality hotels either. Her kids will be fine.
Glad someone is defending this PP! It's really not that serious. And they're in sleeping bags for god sake, they aren't laying on the bare floor of a bus station bathroom or something.
My allergies are flaring up just thinking g about sleeping on a hotel floor - dust mites, dander, pollen, dirt, and that doesn't even include the tons of bacteria looming.
. I can't speak to the allergies because I've luckily never suffered from those. But seriously, what do you think the bacteria are going to do to you? There are bacteria everywhere. Do you sanitize your hands every time you touch a dollar bill?

Anonymous wrote:OP you still haven't answered WHY you would choose to do this. I can't imagine going on a willing trip with this set up. If you can't afford more than one hotel room, do day trips from your house. If it's for an emergency, funeral, etc. and you can't afford two rooms - that's the only way this should possibly be a choice.
