Schultz wants fcps to quit spending on wasteful stuff like umpteenth consultants.

Not sure what Comstock wants.

The liberal-leaning ProgressVA in an email Monday specifically called attention to Comstock's vote this year against the state budget bill and a 2010 vote for House Bill 30, which cut aid to K-12 education by $620 million, according to ProgressVA.

Comstock was one of 17 delegates – out of 100 – who opposed this year's budget bill, House Bill 1500. Other House members representing Loudoun who voted against the bill include Dels. David Ramadan (R-87th) and Jim LeMunyon (R-67th).

“We're starting to have some serious concerns about the gap between the reality of Del. Comstock's record and what's she's presenting to her constituents,” said Anna Scholl, executive director for ProgressVA, a progressive advocacy group. “For example, her April newsletter touted the teacher pay raise that she actually voted against.”

This is the problem. People seem to confuse money with results. Do you have any idea how much of these funds are wasted? signed teacher

Don't we have an enormous budget deficit this year?

All of our politicians, liberal, conservative and everyone in between should be tightening Virginia's belt, just like we all do when things are tight.

We all cut our cable and don't remodel our kitchen when our pay gets cut, kwim?

Most SB members are smug elitists. When bathrooms are more important than educating our children and renaming schools is more important than helping the kids in those schools, something is wrong.

Liberal democrats are so extreme and intolerant. They blame anyone who disagrees with them for their own intolerance (you're racist, you're sexist, you're xenophobic).

Not supporting illegal immigration doesn't mean a person is racist.

Being concerned about Islamic terrorism does not mean a person is xenophobic.

Not supporting Hillary Clinton and her policies does not mean a person is sexist.

Having concerns about the consequences of changes in bathroom policies does not mean a person is transphobic or homophobic.

Just because someone has different political viewpoints than you do does not mean that they are a bad person.

Liberal democrats: quit being so extreme and intolerant. If you are offended by Schultz's twitter than just don't look at it.

Fairfax County should stop spending money to renovate parks, especially gold courses, and put tax dollars in Fairfax/ Clifton schools. Education counts more than recreation.

McElveen wants to spend money changing bathroom policies and school names. I'm for Schultz.

I've read some of her tweets where she complains that Catholics and Evangelicals are getting a raw deal. It's very much a page from the Trump/Giuliani playbook and an invitation to anti-Semitism and other forms of prejudice. I hope they find a way to kick her off the School Board soon.

Have you seen WikiLeaks where Clinton's staffers are going after the Catholics and mocking Catholics and Evangelicals? I'm guessing that is what the tweet is about.

? Catholics are all over the news calling for the Clinton campaign to apologize. And they as a group are split between republicans and democrats.

Can anyone in your world have a different belief than you and do a job well? School board members are not terribly political on the job. Their main job is to decide how to spend a school budget. How many line items in the school board budget do you think are politically motivated?

Am I supposed to assume that Ryan McElveen best manages a school budget just because he's probably the most liberal?

I live there and my wife and I joke about how many choose life and pray the rosary bumper stickers we see.

To paraphrase LBJ, you'd have to catch her with a live girl or a dead boy.

I think there are plenty of people in Chantilly, Fair Lakes, Burke and West Springfield who find her antics disgusting and will happily vote to get rid of her even if she's a hit in Clifton and parts of Fairfax Station.

She is pretty popular out this way, if only because she provides an opposition voice to our very liberal school board.

No one but democrats want complete, one sided control, rule and dominance.
