I spent about $30 each. One was store bought, the other y kid designed themselves and was the cost of the materials (but not my time to sew it).

Probably about $40-50 a kid. We're making them and much of that is for reusable clothes in the necessary colors. Paint, fabric, and duct tape start adding up though.

Well, I ordered eagle wings there for $32 and when they arrived they STANK of cheap glue, and some of the feathers started coming loose. They look good from afar but the construction is poor and I bet they're uncomfortable to wear.
DD is all excited and so I can't return them, but man I wish I'd taken a look at them before she came home from school.
Oh yes, we purchased a pink witch costume from Chasing Fireflies that filled our house with feathers and glitter until Christmas.
