NP - I dated a guy for a couple of months, knew he had been divorced, then found out he had been divorced TWICE. So pissed that he hadn't said so up front. Ditched him because he was all serious with me too quickly, which obviously was his MO, since he was divorced twice.

Also, I think 3 dates is plenty of time to tell someone you're divorced.

I'm separated and have no problem dating or with my soon to be ex-husband dating. We are getting divorced. We wouldn't have separated if there was a chance we'd be able to work it out. So we are technically still married but the marriage is long dead. That being said, I am totally transparent about the situation. From the start.

Yes OP, please give us more info. I am getting the impression you may be wavering on what to do still. We all seem to be in agreement that you should move on but tell us more.

He lied to you, and now he's basically blaming his (almost) ex wife for the lie. I agree with others that he could still be lying to you about the state of his relationship and the nature of the breakup, he's probably not ready for a relationship (I wasn't), and he generally sounds a little sketchy.

I agree, he should have told me. He said he expected to sign the papers 4 months ago but his wife has been dragging it out in court because she wants money from him. I saw a text from her and she is requesting alimony.

He is a liar, and that is all you need to know. He is withholding information to manipulate the situation to his liking. If he were a stand-up guy, he would have told you and let you make a decision. Run far and run fast from this guy.
