Or just do what I do, use a hotel so you have immediate recourse at the establishment and with corporate. Again I don't see the risk reward with air BnBw

I completely understood your posts, that your mom chose to snuggle with your daughter on the air mattress, then your mom chose to move to the full size bed. Sounds perfectly acceptable. People are crazy and just looking for a fight.

Ok I lied...op here and I'm back. She chose not to stay with us when offered, but wanted walking distance. I used to live in DC area (thus my use of this forum) but don't anymore. There are lots of hotels about 3-4 miles but mom didn't want to be that far. My parents tried an AirBNB last time they visited and it was a mile. My mom asked if I could find something closer and less expensive so I found what I could. She'll be back in our apartment tonight which is nice for me. I think for her it's about all of us sharing one bathroom, worrying about being in our space (I tell her she's welcome but she worries about imposing) etc. Part of it is she doesn't want to pay $350 / $400 night for a room at a hotel but doesn't want to stay with us, so Airbnb was what I could figure out. We live in a very pricey area. I'm going to advise against Airbnb next time, and maybe didn't press hard enough for her to stay with us this time. I thought she might want to go to the AirbnB again tonight (the woman steam cleaned her carpets and went to stay with a friend and told my mom she could have the house) because my daughter has been screaming so much at night and we don't get much sleep here.
