Yes, everything after age 26 until about 35 was a blur when it came to my age. I could never remember and would just pick random numbers!

Now I KNOW I'm 37 almost 38. I think it's because 40 is right around the corner.

Yes. Crazy, right? When I was a kid I would say my age in 1/2 = I'm 6 and a half.


You sound very mature for 6 1/2 yr.

I used to always overestimate my age...until this year. I am 57 and don't look a day over 45. People are always shocked when they here my age and now, apparently, so am I. I think I am starting to struggle with approaching the big 6-0 mainly because I just don't identify with being in my 60's. Can't imagine being there in less than 3 years.

This is me. I do NOT feel like I'm almost 40.

I don't forget my age, but my husband does all the time. He was mad at me one year when he thought he was a year younger and discovered he just "lost" a year.


Same here. I'll be 40 in a few months, but feel 27. How can I be almost 40??

I always forget and DH thinks its crazy. I am a year younger than him and so I think I adjust to the idea of turning that next number when he does and therefore just lose track of which number I am on.

It always takes me about 6 months to accept my new age and then soon after I start telling people I am almost 1 year older. I'm only 28!

This is me. I do NOT feel like I'm almost 40.

All the time... I think it started with kids. I know how old they are. I can give you a good estimate of how old I am without thinking.

If you want my real age, I have to do the math. My age is no longer important.

OMG. last year I spent most of it thinking I was 55. I was 54. My eldest son said "Um, Mom?" Whoohoo, got a year back, just like that! I just turned 55 last week. NOW I am old enough for Leisure World - LOL
