If you are Hispanic and pass for white you my never face discrimination while if you are of African descent and Hispanic you may face the same sterotypes as AA's. There's a question of wealth, of culture and of appearance all interacting in one classification.

If you look white but speak English with a pronounced accent and have a Garcia last name, you bet you can be discriminated.

It's not all about skin color, folks.

And if you don't have a pronounced accent? I know plenty, plenty, plenty Hispanics that no one has a clue they are Hispanic. Also, I don't walk around the world with my last name taped to my back, so 99% that wouldn't even come into play.
