My kid was 7 when I ran back in to get something I had forgotten in the house. I have assigned parking and it's about 50 feet to the house. Our neighborhood. He was almost 9 before I left him a few minutes to get iced coffee in a DD. (Parked so he was in my sight. He was more interested in the iPad). None of this has been over 5 minutes yet. He will panic of something goes wrong. So he's not ready fyet r more. Baby steps.
