Now who's the troll? Sounds like you don't want your precious school to be investigated about this.

Anonymous wrote:Pretty hard to believe that 75% of the students at Perry St. Prep are foster children.
More believable that people live in MD or VA and are using the grandparents DC addresses to be able to go to LAMB and all of the other charter schools.

Anonymous wrote:One thing not mentioned once in all the boundary fraud talk is foster kids. There are 1000 DC school aged foster children (many of whom call their foster parents mom and dad).
500 of those foster children live in Prince George's County, because those are the homes that will take them in. As wards of DC they are legally entitled to go to school in DC, regardless of where their foster parents live. They also get health care through the city.

Maybe if they abided by the District's rules about the kids having to live in DC proper, there wouldn't be such a fuss about this...maybe? Does the school even investigate that? You have this ludicrous lottery system and the kids that are accepted don't even live in DC. Yes, it's ludicrous. I'm sure there are cases where the parents have divorced and they are using one of the spouses addresses that is in DC but that can't be the case for the amount of cars that are parked on Randolph (and, I'm sure, Quincy, too) every morning.
But, yes, "woe is me" to all of you Maryland residents.
