The ignorance looks pretty on you!

Yeah, keep drinking the Kool-Aid. The food is NOVA is generally pretty bad.

Good suggestions already posted.

I lived in Ethopia for a number of years and let me tell you, Enatye in Herndon has the best Ethopian in all of the metro area, including DC. It is understated, no frills restaurant, but the food transports me back to Adidas and is hands down the best.

Edy's chicken and steak for incredible Peruvian Pollo ala Brasa. It's on 7 in Bailey's crossroads. Just get the chicken and fried yucca.

I could drink the Hummos and Garlic paste at Lebanese taverna. I go to their market in Arlington to buy that.

French at L'Auberge Chez Francois in Great Falls

Yes! There's one in the new development at the Dunn Loring metro.

Nooo...

Agreed. Blech! I never understood all of the fuss about this place (And I am Italian). The bread they use is tasteless and soggy and the meats are no better than what you buy at a grocery store deli counter. Then, they slap on some onions, oil, and peppers and call it an Italian sub. And they charge you $10.00 for a small sandwich. They have no competition though, and this is probably the only reason for the hype.

If you're from Italy and expecting it to replicate something from home, you've missed the point of Italian Store. It has a title competition now, but it is one of only a few non-big chain sandwich shops.

Uh well some of us haven't lived in France and Belgium so it's not a daily menu

It is not about living in a place, it is about the fact that you are charged an arm and a leg for food that is the French equivalent of Clydes. If you want good French food, go to Bistro D'Oc near emtro center! And it is a great atmosphere and it is well priced.

Sad to say that Bistro d'oc has closed!

Another with a Vietnamese partner. At Eden Center we like Huong Viet and Viet Royale. There's also a shop that sells good fried tofu, if you like that. Can't think of the name.
