DH leaves for work at 5:30 and my gym is part of a big chain and will not alter classes in response to a request here or there. When I belonged to independently owned gyms this was more the norm. As I said, this was a rant/vent and it's in the fitness forum so addressed to other people who are similarly interested in working out. If you're jealous that I exercise in the first place go elsewhere.
This couldn't be more of a first world problem. Sorry you can't find a class to attend during your six free hours a day.
So what if it is a "first world problem" - this is the first world, this is a discussion board based here. If you don't have anything constructive to say, then don't bother posting! Ugh.

Can't put my older kid in before-care because he has multiple special needs. 9-11 is really the only time I can exercise and I like group exercise and it's what keeps me sane raising the aforementioned kid with multiple special needs. So yes this is an actual problem for me.
I work full time and have two kids - one in school and one with special needs - and I work out at home. Because even though group exercise would be lovely, I just can't make that work.
