Royal pains is great. The back story is good and the episodes aren't too hard to follow etc so good for before bed

Agree with the PP who suggested Royal Pains. Also Drop Dead Diva--I think it was on Lifetime but it's pretty good---about a model who died and is sent back to earth in the body of a plus-sized attorney.

DDD is my guilty pleasure...

There is a Lisa Kudrow show called Web Therapy that I have watched on Showtime that is really funny.

I actually liked the Bradley Whitford show about a divorced guy and his ex-wives, but it got cancelled after 1 season.

And my favorite ever show possibly in the history of time is Veep. Like Seinfield meets the West Wing but with the most creative swearing and insults you will ever hear. Julia LD has the most spot on comedic timing ever. And all the supporting case is spot-on as well.
