Who says it's unknowing?

The kid is a preschooler.

My preschooler is in on the "girl power" thing.

Nike campaign that's almost 2 years old.

+1 this isn't political at all

the AWESOME ad:

And in the non-political sense I say absolutely let her wear it. If you're actually doing it from an HRC stance then I'd say no, I don't really like getting kids involved with politics. And I'm voting HRC so its not that part that is bugging me.

No. She is a kid.

I love it and it's a picture of the Capitol and while women are not very represented in the Republican party, surely they won't take issue with female Senators and House of Representatives. If they do, F them. It's not political at all. Surely women can run in either party.

Girls and boys run the same way if they're good at it.

Let THEM worry about YOU. Why should YOU worry about THEM?

OP here. You're AWESOME! Thank you

Perhaps some of us just want to get along.
Why be devisive?

It's only divisive of someone objects to it. Who would?

I can't get my head around putting a political bumper sticker on your child. It's vile.

"Vile"? Really? Overreact much?

I disagree with respect to "girl power" type stuff for girls. They start hearing anti-girl stuff from little boys so early. I totally put my girls in "strong is the new pretty" type shirts. I see this in that category.

Emily's List has had shirts like this out for a while, as well. Pre-Hillary.

Not OP. I don't see what's inappropriate at all. And I'm the one who questioned why OP thought a Republican would care about it.

Now that I got it, I'm a little hesitant to put it on her for school. She goes to a catholic school in NoVA, and I saw a parent today w a "Reagan/Bush 1980" shirt on today. What do you think? Inappropriate for school?

I'd do it.

Why? How does a girl run?

First they join a political party.

Then they gather signatures to get their name on a ballot.

Same as a boy, so what's the point?

It's taking a purported insult "like a girl" and affirming it as a strength. It's awesome.

It's silly.
