That is for a hang-up call.
Wouldn't a 911 dispatcher actually verify the address to go to for a call made regarding a missing child as opposed to going by the cell-phone address that popped up on the screen? As in take down a verbal address from the caller?

Possibly, but not guaranteed. OP, you should report this to the cops, just so they can do a more thorough check.
Go walk up to the garage and see if the lights go on... easily tested theory.

The call coming from inside the house/basement is an old urban legend/ghost story that has been around from at least the late 70s and probably earlier. I remember it going around when I was a kid and everyone getting freaked out during slumber parties at the house where one girl had her own phone line separate from her parents.
I am 50 and have no idea what this is. But I do remember Are You in the House Alone?
