When you gave a number to your spouse, did it include only people you had intercourse with? What about oral?

I only included full sex (2) as opposed to oral which would have raised it to 8.

Wow. That seems low. Woman here. No idea my number and I'd never discuss it with my husband. Why?!? Seems crass to discuss.

I told my DH and wish I hadn't; he wa pretty upset my number is 30, even though his is double that. He thought anything over 3 is too high for a woman and ideally I would have been a virgin like his brother's wife (why he even knows that about her is beyond me).

He's over it now but it caused a lot of conflict for awhile. And thank god he got over his whole "men can go have fun while women need to stay home and knit" belief.

My wife told me two before me. Don't believe her and questioned her a few times while drunk and got same answer. She is well above average with a great figure.

Similar and related, but different points. These women seem to think their husbands don't ask because they don't care. I'm saying they don't ask because they DO care. They don't ask because they really don't want to know how just how many miles of D wifey had before they met.

Haha yes I sure did lie! I actually don't know what my number is but I am guessing about 25. I said about 10.

It wasn't a big, important conversation. But I think downplaying was the right move

I don't know DHs number and I don't particularly care. He was careful to use protection with all previous partners and has been tested for the STDs you can be tested for. Since STDs are the only concern I'd have related to number of partners, that's enough for me.

I told DH my number back when we were dating. I gave him the real number, no under or overestimating because, well, it's a pretty small number and I know exactly what it is. I don't and didn't feel like I owed him that information and I forget how it came up in conversation but it wasn't a big deal.

Think the average is seven, which sounds right. Have never asked my wife but figured out it had to be at least twenty. I think women never care about the number unless the guy was a porn star but men do because there is a lot of pressure regarding their performance and it is so easy for women to get laid.

I didn't lie, but I didn't have any reason to. I'm not proud of all my decisions, but they are part of me.
