Should not matter in the slightest. Yet so many get hung up on, and make a fuss about insignificant things.

What about sleeveless shirts or short skirts, or sandals?

All seem more questionable than sunglasses on the head because they involve showing up the body.

I wear my sunglasses in church sometimes because here is a large window behind the pulpit that causes sunlight to blind people in the morning. But I go to a casual church.

It’s really not good for your glasses to wear them on your head...it weakens the the hinges.

I dress well for church. No flip flops, shorts, capri pants (GASP!) or sunglasses.

I need reading glasses to read the hymnal. Because I am old.

When the priest is saying the gospel I put my reading glasses on my head so I can see him.

We generally dress nicer for church out of respect. God doesn't care if you come in your pajamas. But we still put on nicer clothing to show respect for the institution and the ceremonies.

So take off your sunglasses too. It's not the pool, it's church. Though I think anytime you are inside you should be taking them off and putting them away.
