The first one was funny and made sense when it came out like 30 years ago.
This one is simply pathetic.

It wasn't terrible. I like that it stands on its own and isn't a rehash of the original's plot. The pacing is just off. Nothing really happens in the first 2/3 of the movie. A lot of the jokes don't really land, so the movie just kind of trudges along. The last third, however, has a lot of visuals and is a lot more fun.
I took my six year old with me who wore her Ghostbusters costume there. There were a lot of kids ages 5-8 around us. They all seemed pretty bored. I think adults will enjoy it more.

Considering it's PG-13, wth did you bring your six year old along for? I do not understand this wanting to put that age-inappropriate shit in your kids' head.
I'm so glad that my parenting doesn't require your understanding or approval.
Mkay, but when your precious six year old teaches mine swear words, I'm going to have words for you.

NP. Taking a 6-year-old toa PG-13 movie isn't "parenting"; it's actually quite the opposite.
