That goes beyond keeping the secret that she wrote the song he was about to drop into sounding like he thought he was too indie or too cool for her. He should have said, "I would love to work with Taylor! I think we could do amazing things together!" and left it at that. It would have been far more gallant and would not har et this whole thing off.
I don't think Swift has ever dated anyone crazier than her before so this could be interesting.
Presumably Harris's best revenge would be leaking the version of the song where Swift sang the main vocals or even her demo of the song to him and showing how much he changed it and improved it. Unless her version really was great and he is just whinging because he is a jerk.

Yes
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Serious question....That looks like Rihanna's song. If Taylor wrote it, why is it considered Calvin Harris' song?
Because prior to this revelation, he was acting like HE wrote it (the melody) for Rihanna to sing.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Never thought I’d say it but Taylor has earned a Prince quote: "I can’t be played. A person trying to play me, plays themselves."
Not a fan of hers, but she is damn good at the game

Did you know that some people at her concert last year at Nationals Park got picked at random to see her backstage or get better seats?
Most artists don't do that type of thing, or you have to pay a lot to get backstage for a 30 second photo opp.
All of that being said, I think she has peaked in terms of albums. She reminds me of some of the artists from the 80's, one or two CD's and they are done because they started off at too young of an age. I know she has sold millions of albums, but I just don't see her being successful in the music industry for much longer.
LOL, ok well you're the only one then because she was the highest paid entertainer last year according to Forbes. And obviously she has dominated the headlines all summer with tales of her new romance and parties, etc. Doubt very much she will be leaving the public eye anytime soon.

No way has she earned a Prince quote. Give me a break. This is middle school bullshit. Taylor is falling off the pedastal. Finally.

Anonymous wrote:She is talented, single, young, famous, rich and stunning. She has traded up with Tom H. Good for her. She is not a pathetic woman like Rihanna who gets mistreated by her boyfriends. If she does not get treated right, she drops the man. Then she makes herself richer by writing songs about them. She is not a victim and I am happy about that. She is a powerful woman who will not take shit from people. And she still believes in love.
