Charters won't offer spots after count day, even if there is space available. Their per pupil funding for the year is based on count day. It's usually the beginning of October so they won't offer admission after that.
Not necessarily, we got an offer from a charter in April for last year

We are Pk4 and just got in. Leaving a great school...... But we want the Spanish immersion. Hopefully our 'old' school will move in that direction.

We were #2 at Lamb for pk4 an entire year and it never moved. Would have switched even in April had that been a possibility.

I would accept if offered a spot. It's a really great school - doesn't surprise me at all that no one declined.

As best as I can tell, there has not been a single family to turn down an offer for Lamb's PK3 class this year yet. How many parents who have been accepted are still on the fence? It can't be true that everyone who has accepted is going.

When we enrolled a previous July, LAMB required us to show proof we were un-ennrolled from the previous school we'd accepted.
When we enrolled at LAMB (for prek 4) that was not the case - so it may vary based on who is doing the paperwork.

I don't recall it moving much but I stopped caring once we got in. Some kids got spots and mundo verde and decided to go there.
