Carey Hart rides motorcycles and drives trucks. He is badass.

Corey Hart wore his sunglasses at night. Whether this makes one badass is debatable.

Gregor is the welsh variation of Gregory.

Would never do Teddy as a proper name. As a nickname for Edward, which is a fine English name, sure.

If you're going to buck the "men's names turning into women's names" trend, I really like Carey (like Grant and Elwes).

Fergus I like too, but it really makes me want to say it with a fake Scottish brogue. It also seems like something one would name their Scottish terrier or wolfhound. But I like it, fwiw.

Yep, and there's Cary Grant, and Carey Hart is pretty badass.

Do not name your son Loren. How about Lane instead? Teddy ( Theodore) is fine, Gavin, Abraham even ( Bram or Abe) but do not give your son that name.

BINGO.

And the only ones I know with that name or variants of it are Jewish.

I happen to like Bram but we are considering naming our little guy Abraham and calling him Bram for short.

+1 and adulthood.

Most males that have the feminine sounding names to us in the 21st century are older.. Leslie, Robin, Loren, etc.. Today, those are used as girl names.

Anonymous wrote:Another English poster. Noone has heard of Loren over here, but might I suggest Fergus. It seems like every other boy in London is called Fergus. Also Jack, Ralph (pronounced Rafe), Gareth, Teddy, Freddie, Jake etc

No one here will pronounce RALPH as "RAFE", unless corrected, and then give you a funny look - like.. "okaaay, a bit pretentious".
