I'm guessing they have some sort of arrangement because his actions seem to be of such an ongoing nature. Even to this day maybe. He is one of the very few well known figures I follow on Twitter who allows direct messages from people he doesn't follow.
Ha. I was PP who posted they have an arrangement, and, given recent events, that seems pretty clearly to be the case. I must admit to being curious about why Huma agrees to the arrangement. Perhaps, she has seen it work out for her mentor Hillary, so it seemed like a good idea?

Her life is beyond respectable. It's his that's the problem. Can he even get a job right now? Did the movie discuss this?

How can such a weak woman lead our country forward if she has no self-respect or dignity within herself....??!....What can she do for us if she cannot do for herself??!
I think she set a bad example that Weiner's wife has decided to follow. After all, she probably looks up to Hillary very much.

I was also surprised by Huma. Always imagined her to be a visibly strong, type A go-getter, and was not expected her to project such a meek, quiet, subservient presence.
Wonder how they're doing now. What are his options, since his political career will not rebound?
I didn't see her as meek in the film at all. I read her as trying to stay as blank as humanly possible on camera, to avoid giving them any material.
