I mostly have a problem with this emergence of gay characters on tv affecting the sexual orientation of existing and well known characters. What are they going to do next, make Batman gay? Make Cinderella a lesbian movie?
They should introduce new characters who may happen to be gay or bi. Don't mess with existing characters.

Most of these cartoons leave enough nuance in their relationships that gay people can project their fantasies on them. i don't get why popular characters should be specifically gay.
