Seriously, though, if you're in an environment where office supplies are already in short supply, you need to be more conscientious about returning people's stuff, especially when you borrow it without permission. You can't be mad at her for not being gracious when you are the one who effed up.

Also, if you think one coworker's dislike of you is a major workplace issue, you're in for a rude awakening. This is small stuff compared to what a lot of us have to put up with to put food on the table.

I don't think so. It's about taking something and then not returning it. Had the co-worker not started looking for her scissors, the OPO probably would have just kept them.

I think everyone already covered it but your co-worker is not a bitch based on these two incidents.
