At 20 years old and just finishing an associates degree, you should really be focused on getting a four-year degree. That would be the most important financial decision that you make. As you get older and realize that you don't have much if any income growth in your current position, you may also feel trapped because you might feel too old to go back to school. Do it now, before it's too late!

Echo that you really need to set aside money for an emergency fund. That car is eventually going to need repairs; your cat is going to need to go to the vet; you might need some medical help. I'd aim for $100-300 a month, at least.

You'll also need some fun $ - you'll want to go out with friends, sometimes.

I'd echo what others have said about renting out a room in someone's house - you should be able to do that for $300-500 a month, I'm guessing. You can use that time to see if the rest of your budget is realistic. If it is, then you should be in ok shape. If not, then it's better to find out before you go in the hole with rental costs.
