There's a reason the very rare occasion that type of thing happens makes news headlines. Commercial structures are made for thousands upon thousands of pounds to move around on it. Do you really think steel frames are unable to withstand a room full of people dancing after a wedding? I can't think of any headlines where a building (or even a house) crashed, but I've heard of a few random decks and balconies. Seriously, take a xanax.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Maybe buy better quality stuff? Things should hold up to 220 lb people.
When people jump in synchrony, even commercial structures can be damaged or collapse. It is one thing for two 5 year olds to do this, but 500 pounds would make a floor like a trampoline.
Look even the engineers don't want troops marching on bridges in synch. There have been famous cases of discos falling in. Residential property can't withstand that.
Anyway, I am looking at a rehab of a house across from me. The sub floors and all had to be torn up because the previous owners who each weighed over 300 pounds damaged the doors and they all sag. That did not happen in any of the other identical homes in the neighborhood.

We had a 300+ guest pop a wheel off a very nice well-made club chair. It's because some heavy people "plop" down.

And I call bullshit on cat people ruining doors. Come on, at least make an effort to be believable.
That should be FAT people. Not cat people.

I knew 9/11 was a conspiracy. It wasn't airplanes, it was fat people dancing that caused the towers to fall. Big pharma and Hostess, PepsiCo, Snapple, McDonald's etc just paid off the govt to blame it on the Muslims so we wouldn't know what really happened.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:That's just stupid.
