Subject: How much did your couch cost and what's your HHI?
I don't see how HHI figures into the couch someone bought? We spent $2000 on a Gus*Modern sofa that is a piece of crap and $750 on a La-Z-Boy sofa that is AMAZING.

OP- sofas aren't indications of HHI unless we have money to burn. Many people, no matter HHI, like a bargain.
You didn't give details of the brand/ quality so hard to say if it was a bargain or just a cheaper sofa.
Besides, I get that it is hard to figure out what is reasonable to spend on furniture given HHI.
Maybe op is looking to see what people did.
