OP - you really need to let us know where you and your DH will be working. I can't overstate the importance of having a reasonable commute!

Not going to happen either in most of Alexandria near the better elementary schools (Lyles Crouch, Maury, McArthur or Barrett).
What OP needs is a realtor/relo agent. $650 max has you looking outside the Beltway
